CATEDRA EXOBIOPHARMA DE NANOMEDICINA

The Exobiopharma Chair in Nanomedicine was established in 2024 through a collaboration between the University of Zaragoza and the biopharmaceutical company Exobiopharma. Its goal is to advance research and education in the application of nanosciences to healthcare.

This initiative focuses on R&D, public outreach and education in areas like nanomaterials, nanomolecules, and exosomes. The chair aims to explore their clinical potential in medical fields such as oncology, tissue regeneration, immunomodulatory treatments for inflammation, and early disease diagnosis. In these areas, nanotechnology-based therapies hold the promise of more effective, personalized treatments, with the potential to significantly improve clinical outcomes and enhance patients’ quality of life.

The activities of the Chair include funding postgraduate scholarships to train specialists, organizing outreach events, and hosting conferences, seminars, and courses to enhance understanding of nanotechnology in human health.
